You are required to register at your local town hall if you plan to stay longer than 4 months in The Netherlands.

We’ll set up an appointment for you at the town hall and provide details about the documents you’ll need to bring. On succesul registration, you’ll also be issued with a BSN (social security number) which you may need when setting up a bank account, or for securing any number of other services.
